SCOUT GREETINGS TO SPRING

For the fourteenth time there was a traditional action of Nis scouts. Spending time in nature, and promote scouting skills.

The Memorial Park "Bubanj" held a traditional action of scouts "violet, your face is pretty". Participants and organizers of this activity, organized by the Scouts "Kralj Petar",  welcomed Boban Džunić, president of municipality of Palilula. He emphasized the importance of the role of scout organizations working with children and young people and stressed the need to support scouting activities because it is an organization that has a long tradition of successful results. "Cooperation between the Organization of the Scout organization with the local government of the City of Niš is crucial to the implementation of the program and the successful implementation of the activities - said president Džunić. Three scout units, Detachment "Đuka Dinić', "Kralj Petar" and "Training ship Jadran", are successfully working in Palilula and have very good support from the management of our community - especially the Youth Office of Palilula and educational institutions.

According to Momcilo Petkovic, Head of the "King Peter" scouts, this activity, which was organized to mark the beginning of spring in the park "Bubanj" exercised part of the program of environmental education. Under the auspices of Palilula-Office for Youth, there was a promotion of spending time outdoors and healthy lifestyles of young people.

Action "violet, your face is pretty" has gathered, for the fourteenth time, about 300 members of the reconnaissance detachment from all of the Scout Association of the city of Nis. The elder of the alliance, Ratomir Petkovic said that even though the organization with a proper support of local authorities, such as a good example of Palilula municipality, workspace of Scouts are not adequately resolved. Our activities are not commercial, our leaders and the leadership are volunteering to work with children, without any compensation and benefits.
